Theology of Work

Theology of Work is the biblical understanding that all honest work is meaningful and is part of God's purpose for humanity. From the beginning of creation, God entrusted people with the responsibility to cultivate, develop, serve, and steward His creation (Genesis 1:26–28; 2:15). Therefore, work is not merely a means of earning a living; it is an act of worship, faithful stewardship, and Christian witness.

The Theology of Work teaches believers to integrate their faith with every aspect of daily life and vocation. Whether serving in ministry, business, agriculture, education, healthcare, government, or any other profession, Christians are called to honour God through excellence, integrity, diligence, and service to others.

A Core Program for Every Student

At Morogoro Bible College, the Theology of Work Program is a compulsory component of the curriculum for all students, regardless of their academic programme or ministry focus. We believe that every graduate should be equipped not only with sound biblical and theological knowledge but also with a biblical understanding of work, leadership, entrepreneurship, stewardship, and community development.

Through this programme, students learn how biblical principles can be applied in their personal lives, churches, workplaces, businesses, and communities, enabling them to become effective servants of Christ in every sphere of society.
